Rethinking

We reviewed our shots from southend and edited a few of them together, we're not entirely pleased with them. They didn't come out as we had hoped! This has made us think that the idea of using Southend may not be the best one. This is what we edited before we changed our minds:



we are currently in the process of storyboarding our new idea. I'll post our new idea as soon as we're sure about it!

Se7en - The Film

In Fridays lesson (5th Novemember) , we watched the film Se7en, directed fantastically by David Fincher. With an excellent plot and gripping ending finding a flaw would be a challenge. The shots were unique and extremely interesting,the film was put together perfectly. The characters were played exceptionally well,especially that of the psychotic murderer, played by Kevin Spacey. Some may even say it was the making of his career. I will definitely be looking to this film for inspiration for my opening.

Believe it or not we did get some good shots from the day! We are now in the process of editing our shots together to create the opening.

Filming

Me and Lucy made the trek to Southend today to film the main parts of our opening. We managed to get it all done and tomorrow we will see how it came out! Despite it being extremely windy and cold, I think the shots came out well and hopefully it will all look okay. I'm really looking forward to editing them and seeing the final piece. We got a few bloopers and kept a little video diary of our day, so as soon as they are edited I'll upload them to my blog.
